Charline von Heyl: Contemporary abstract painter
Charline von Heyl is a German painter who lives in the USA. She has been exhibiting in solo and group since 1991.

Distinctive, imaginative, and always surprising, von Heyl’s work offers a fresh and exciting approach to abstract art. Often employing unconventional painting methods and staying true to her style, she has constantly reinvented the art form.

Her composition of lines, circles and irregular outlines blast out of the medium, creating a new world vision. Contrastive colors are harmonized within the frame, which forms part of the global work. One can imagine whichever living being, or natural element, from her combination of colorful shapes. She often chooses white color as background, in which abstract subjects could take any forms, varying in any new colors, and escape in any directions, according to the imagination of the viewer. One surely can’t have enough of her works.
